Safe-station

The Display Screen Equipment Regulations 2002 state that risk assessments of workstations is to be undertaken periodically

• Ensures that you comply with the above regulations
• Reduces the possibility of your employees suffering from upper limb disorders (ULDs)
• Allows you to keep a record of all workstation inspections

Safe-station has been designed to allow a DSE user to conduct their own quick and simple inspection of their workstation to confirm whether or not it is safe to work at.

By simply working through the duplicate checklist a user can identify areas of concern or otherwise. Whilst completing the checklist, an automatic copy is created on the duplicate copy in the pad.

Once completed, assuming that the workstation is considered safe, the top copy of the checklist can be torn from the pad and either passed to the relevant department as proof of inspection or can be folded in half to display its green reverse and placed inside a safety status indicator on the workstation. 

If a problem was identified, the checklist can be passed to the relevant department for action.
